Our Story

Why Virtual Speech Solutions exists

Virtual Speech Solutions started from something its founder kept seeing from both sides of the same system. Working across pediatric, adult, and school-based settings, Jaclyn Shasha watched families struggle to find consistent speech therapy, and watched California districts struggle to keep those same roles covered.

Both came down to access. Distance, waitlists, and clinician shortages decide who gets support and who waits, and the person in the middle is usually a child or an adult who simply needs to be understood.

VSS was built to work on both sides of that gap. Families receive evidence-based therapy in our Murrieta clinic or through teletherapy anywhere in California. Schools and districts get credentialed SLPs and SLPAs who arrive already fluent in IEP timelines and California documentation.

The commitment is the same on either path: clinically rigorous care, delivered by clinicians who are supported well enough to stay.

Jaclyn Shasha

M.S., CCC-SLP • Founder & CEO

Jaclyn Shasha is a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with nearly 15 years of experience in speech therapy and special education. Throughout her career, she has worked with children and adults across a wide range of settings, including schools, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, teletherapy, and private practice. Her experience across these different environments ultimately led her to open her own practice, Virtual Speech Solutions.

In addition to being an SLP and business owner, Jaclyn is a wife and mom of two. Having grown up in Murrieta, she values the opportunity to give back to her community by providing speech therapy services to local children, adults, families, and schools. Through teletherapy, she is also grateful to be able to extend that support to individuals, families, and schools throughout California.

Jaclyn is passionate about providing individualized speech therapy and making services more accessible. She values meeting people where they are, building meaningful connections with her clients and their families, and providing practical, compassionate support throughout the therapy process.
